Professional Hand-Knitting Course
This course ensures that you’ll graduate with actual products, not just samples.
Level 1 consists of 6 sessions where you will learn everything related to flat knitting.
Different methods for starting and utilizing each method in your work.
Basic stitches and how to read and execute stitch patterns.
Adjusting garment measurements and determining the number of stitches required for any size.
Changing colors and stitches professionally during your work.
Creating horizontal buttonholes.
Decreasing and increasing stitches on the edges.
Straight and angled edges, as well as the ankle edge.
Making and executing lace stitches from patterns.
Closing and finishing your work professionally.
Throughout the course, you will create at least 5 pieces where you will apply all the techniques you’ve learned:
A pair of socks, a sweater, a baby dress or vest, a hat or scarf, and a collar.
The course consists of 6 sessions, each lasting 3 hours. The sessions are intense and packed with information, and they will take place once a week.
